Paris 2025
We spent four slow, sunny days in June in Paris. Wandering through Montmartre, across the Seine, and into little cafés with good coffee and even better people-watching. :-) We didn’t rush. We just let the city carry us.

Montmartre
I loved the narrow streets and soft hills, the smell of crêpes in the air, and that view from Sacré-Cœur as the sky turned pink. We went back there in the evening – and stood there a little longer. Paris really knows how to do light.
There were the classics :-)
We stood under the Eiffel Tower (and yes, I took the shot). We looked out from the Arc de Triomphe, watching the chaos of Paris traffic from above. We visited Notre-Dame – still standing proud – and remembered how much history lives in these stones.
We spent time in museums, too.
The Orangerie was a quiet highlight – Monet’s water lilies just pull you in and slow you down. The Musée d’Orsay was busier, but full of light and faces that seem to look right back at you. I didn't take too many photos there. Some things you just feel.
And in between – we strolled.
No real plan, just walking, pausing, shooting. A bit of shopping, some people-watching, and always one more café. Paris is made for that. For walking slowly, looking up, and letting yourself drift. One espresso at a time.
The city felt warmer, quieter. Streetlights came on, windows lit up, and music floated out from open doors. We found little places to eat, tucked between streets – nothing fancy, just good food and time to share it.
A few museums, some quiet streets, a handful of views we won’t forget – and plenty of good food and coffee in between.
A relaxed long weekend. Just how it should be.
